1. Go to Upromise.com to establish a Upromise account.
2. Link your Texas 529 plan to your Upromise account.
3. Link either your personal credit card to your Upromise account or apply for a Upromise Mastercard (see Upromise.com for the difference in rewards earned).

Have a Upromise account but no Texas 529 plan?*

1. Go to SaveNowForCollege.org to enroll in a Texas 529 plan.
2. Link your Upromise account to your Texas 529 plan.
3. Link either your personal credit card to the Upromise account or apply for a Upromise Mastercard (see Upromise.com for the difference in rewards earned).

If you have both a Upromise account and a Texas 529 plan, but they are not linked, it is simple to link them at Upromise.com to start earning rewards on your purchases.*

*If your Texas 529 plan is a Texas Tuition Promise Fund (TTPF) contract, exceptions may apply. You can link a TTPF contract that is a pay-as-you-go plan or an installment plan not paid in full to a Upromise account. If your TTPF contract is a paid-in-full installment plan or a lump sum plan, you will need to open a pay-as-you-go plan or a new installment plan to link to a Upromise account and earn rewards.
